About Us
Innovative Music Zentre (IMZ) is the growth hub of the award-winning e-Orch Innovative Music Project, founded by Dr. Leung Chi-hin at The Education University of Hong Kong. Building on tablet ensembles and an intuitive grid-notation approach, IMZ makes music creation accessible to every learner. The e-Orch app powers hands-on composing, performing, and improvising with virtual instruments, AI accompaniment, and real-time collaboration for classes, workshops, and innovative music performances.Widely adopted across Hong Kong schools, IMZ is now advancing R&D at Hong Kong Science Park, developing new audience-interaction apps, teacher resources, and assessment tools to drive next-generation music education for broader impact.
